Personal Trainer · Boxing · Kettlebells & Strength Gabby Gomez
Outside of coaching, Gabby trains boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and Muay Thai. She is a former track sprinter, and she has more than 200 hours of yoga teaching behind her. That range is why a session with her can move from boxing drills to kettlebells to flexibility work without feeling like three separate workouts.
What she enjoys most is helping people regain confidence, whatever the skill or result they came in for. An ACE Certified Personal Trainer and HKC kettlebell coach, she is most confident coaching weight loss, building muscle, mobility and flexibility, boxing, and functional movement.
Training Style & Focus
Gabby builds a solid foundation first. With the client who lost 40 pounds, the early work was flexibility, mobility, and balance, and only once that base was in place did they move on to harder skills like push-ups and barbell squats.
She also likes to switch up the exercises so a program never gets repetitive. In her words, it is good to have fun while exercising.
Boxing, Weight Loss & Rebuilding Movement Around Old Injuries
Clients come to Gabby for weight loss, building muscle, and getting more mobile and flexible. Boxing and functional movement are the other half of her coaching, and her own time training boxing shapes how she teaches it.
She has also worked with bodies carrying old injuries. One client arrived with multiple injuries that were decades old and still affected how he moved, especially in boxing. Gabby broke the movement down, identified where the problem was, and slowly corrected and conditioned it: better movement, stronger muscles, and smoother boxing technique.
What to Expect in a Session with Gabby
Gabby’s energy in a session is calm and encouraging. She does not yell, and she does not push you past what your body can do, especially if you are someone who does not like being sore. If you are a client who wants to achieve more, faster, she will train you that way too.
A first session is about really seeing how your body functions and getting comfortable with each other.
What Gabby’s Clients Say
One client lost about 40 pounds with Gabby while her flexibility, mobility, and balance improved, and that foundation is what carried her into harder skills like push-ups and barbell squats.
What clients say they appreciate most is that she does not yell or push them past what their body can handle, and that she has a variety of skills to draw on, so sessions stay varied and, in her words, fun.
